Yes, the strength depends on the material weight (GSM) and bottom construction. For heavier items, we recommend using Double-Wall Corrugated Cardboard or an Auto-bottom structure. An auto-bottom (or crash-lock bottom) is pre-glued, allowing the box to support significantly more weight than a standard tuck-top gable box.
